Our two beautifully converted dog friendly self-catering cottages near Heathfield are situated in the heart of the peaceful East Sussex countryside in the South of England. Our two cottages with enclosed gardens are full of character with wooden beams, oak painted floors and cosy log burners. They can be booked together to sleep up to 11 guests comfortably and 2 extra on a sofa bed.

Friesian and Shorthorn cottage were converted from our family dairy farm in 2006. The 150 year old cow byres are full of character and set in a quiet, rural corner of East Sussex. You can connect with nature, listen to the birds and return from a day out to relax in our cosy living space in front of the log burner. They are the perfect base for relaxing and walking, exploring the many beaches, castles and historic houses on our doorstep and enjoying the south coast. We are only 1.5 hours drive from the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkstone, so are ideal for visitors from mainland Europe. We are particularly popular with tourists from Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany who appreciate the peaceful rural location.
